The team of Detroit Pistons was originally known as the Zollner Pistons, named after founder Fred Zollner, owner of Zollner Machine Works, which made pistons. The team's home arena is the Palace of the Auburn Hills in Michigan. They have won 3 NBA championships. First was in 1989 which they defended in 1990. Their third and last win so far was in 2004.
Throughout their stay in the NBA, the team's colors have remained as midnight blue, golden gate orange, yellow and white.

The Golden State Warriors is a basketball team playing in the Western Conference of the NBA based in Oakland, California. The team was founded in 1946 and since then, they have won 2 NBA championships already in 1956 and 1975 plus 6 Conference titles in the 1947, 1948, 1956, 1964, 1967 and 1975 seasons. Before, they were known as the San Francisco Warriors but after they have changed it to Golden State Warriors, they have become the only NBA team whose name does not include the name of their state or city.
Rick Barry who belongs to their Hall of Famers was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the NBA finals in 1975. Other Hall of Famers are Paul Arizin, Wilt Chamberlain, Joe Fulks, Tom Gola, Neil Johnston, Jerry Lucas, Robert Parish and Andy Philip.
